What does Muddai mean? مدعی

Muddai is the plaintiff in a civil suit or the complainant in a criminal case; the opposite party is the muddai alaih (defendant).

Case titles are written as muddai versus muddai alaih — for example “Rafiq Traders vs NBP”, where Rafiq Traders is the plaintiff.

Knowing which side you represent matters for the diary: it decides who must lead evidence and whose absence can lead to dismissal or ex parte orders.

In Munshi

When you say “muddai” in a voice note, Munshi stores it as plaintiff / complainant so search and printed cause lists stay consistent.
